7 NIGHTS OF POSSIBILITIES

Churches have a lot of programmes during this season to the extent that people don't know which one to attend. My prayer for you is that after reading this article may the Holy Spirit quicken your mortal bodies to believe the content and at the same time participate fully. Old time faith ministries is synonymous with 7 nights of possibilities in the city of Port Harcourt, but permit me to say that the uniqueness of this programme is on the
theme: "FREEDOM FROM WATER SPIRIT". Water spirit had caused a lot of problems to humanity.

These spirits live inside the water. It might interest you to know that about 72% of the whole earth is covered by water, there is water above (And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.Genesis 1:7) and water under the earth (Thou shalt not make thee any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the waters beneath the earth: Deuteronomy 5:8). Moreso, the human body is composed of about 53% of water.

72% of the whole earth is water, water on the land, water under the earth and human body is composed of 53% of water. That's serious!!!

There is new revelation the Lord has given to me concerning this wicked spirit that had caused a lot of problems to humanity. In this programme, all shall be unveiled. Tell all your friends about the programme. Send them our online TV address (www.livestream.com/oldtimefaithtv) so they can watch the programme live from any device, tell them that there shall be Revelation, Impartation, Healing, Purity and Deliverance

TESTIMONY
Time and space will not allow me to share with you God's mercies in our midst
Here is a pretty woman who attended our 7 nights of possibilities testify what the Lord had done for her in the presence of the mamont crowd. She said that she hated her husband that loved her so much and bought a car for her. According to her she said that the husband was carrying her like egg but she hated him with abject hatred, she was much happier when her husband travelled. She wished he was not around.

During one of the nights of 7 nights of possibilities, the topic was on war against water spirit. After the spiritual fight (prayers) in the church, in the night when she went back to sleep, a huge tall man came to her in the dream and told her to give him his ring that he could not withstand the fire anymore and that he was no longer interested in the marriage.
The man collected the ring and left and when he was going, in that dream she was begging and calling the man to come back and the man angrily left and she woke up and discovered it was a dream. It was done on her that all these years it was the spirit husband that had been causing all the havocs in her marriage.

It was like veil went out of her, she began to love, cherish, respect her husband like never before. According to her she said, any time her husband was not around she was missing him. With joy in her heart and gratitude to God she returned the glory to God who delivered her from this wicked spirit.

I don’t know what you are going through in life, read the following and if you discover any of such in your life then your must not miss this programme:

GOD'S PURPOSE FOR CHRISTIANS

What Does The Bible Teach About The Christian Way of Life?
  • There is no Christian life apart from faith in Jesus Christ:
  • There is no Christian life apart from the power of God the Holy Spirit:
  • There is no Christian life apart from the knowledge of the Word of God:
What is the Christian's purpose on earth? Every believer in Jesus Christ should ask himself this question, "after salvation, what?" If you say, "to work for Jesus," then you don't have very much knowledge of the Word of God.

Eternal salvation becomes an accomplished fact at the moment of faith in Jesus Christ. Heaven is absolutely guaranteed for anyone who believes in Jesus Christ as his personal Savior. But the quality of the believer's life on earth depends on him carrying out the plan of God after salvation. Impact and blessings in time and eternity depend on fulfilling God's plan in time. Therefore, the question becomes emphatic. What is God's plan for the Christian after the point of personal faith in Christ? God freely gives "all things" after providing salvation (Romans 8:32). What are these things that God provides?

The simplest answer is this: He provides Bible doctrine for His people to learn. The Bible reveals God's purpose and plan. Only through growing in knowledge concerning God can anyone appreciate, love, and worship Him. As Christians we are commanded to "change our thinking" with divine viewpoint thinking so God's gracious purpose can be fulfilled in and through our lives. (Romans 12:2; Eph 1:18; 4:22-24).

God's purpose for the Christian calls for spiritual growth. II Peter 3:18, "But grow in the grace and the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ....." II Timothy 2:15, "Study to show yourself approved of God, a workman who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth."

The Christian is kept alive on earth to fulfill his destiny, which is to become a spiritually mature believer, a spiritual winner. ".....a mature person to the measure of the maturity which belongs to the fullness of Christ." (Eph 4:13-16). Each believer's life becomes a unique expression of the glory of God in both time and eternity (Rom 8:29-30; 9:23-24), but only the spiritually mature believer's life glorifies God by receiving the highest and best that God has prepared for him (Rom 6:1-2a; I John 1:5-2:6).

Divine blessings that the Christian can understand and experience and the overt manifestations of the Christian way of life only comes as a result of spiritual growth. And the Bible teaches that the only means of spiritual growth is the believer's consistent RECEPTION (hearing & listening), RETENTION (learning), and RECALL (application) of Bible doctrine in the filling or controlling mininstry of the Holy Spirit through all the circumstances of life.

Bible doctrine is the content of the Word of God which God designed to be communicated to the believer in Jesus Christ so that it will become the measure of his thinking, and the source of his mental attitude (Rom 12:3; II Tim 3:16-17; Phil 2:5; Heb 4:16;). The importance of Bible doctrine can never be overestimated. In fact, God places His own Word above everything else, even His own name: Psalm 138:2 tells us that "God has magnified (lifted up) His Word above His name."

His Word reveals His nature and His essence. Only the Scriptures allow us to get a glimpse of God's absolute character and to love the revealed member of the Godhead, Jesus Christ (John 1:18). The Bible is absolute truth, the thinking of Jesus Christ (Phil 2:5). I Peter 1:8 tells us that "Though we have not seen Him, we love Him." But this only occurs when we begin to understand His thinking and His viewpoint.

Understanding God's Word is the root of all Christian virtue. It causes the transformation of the believer's life, beginning with the inner person, the soul (Rom 12:2). The Christian's persistent learning and application of Bible doctrine in the filling or controlling ministry of the Holy Spirit enlarges his capacities for life, for love, for service, for blessings, and for happiness (II Corinthians 9:7-8). God's "greater grace" fills up the mature believer's greater capacities "to all the fullness of God." (James 4:6; Eph 3:19). In blessing the believer, God is glorified (Eph 1:3).

Therefore, the Christian life has a very high and elevated purpose here on earth. To bring glory to Jesus Christ and be a testimony to everyone around. And this is only possible when the believer places himself under the consistent learning and application of Bible doctrine in the filling or controlling ministry of the Holy Spirit. If every believer would make his objective to accomplish this, most of the problems within our communities, cities, states and our nation would begin to deteriorate. They would not cease, because Satan will remain the ruler of this world until Jesus Christ returns to set up His Kingdom, but the problems would become more manageable.

Therefore, I challenge you to place your faith in Jesus Christ for salvation, if you haven't already; then to place yourself under the consistent ministry of the Word of God, either under a pastor-teacher who teaches the Word, or by listening to Bible tapes. But keep as your number one priority in the Christian life, the learning of Bible doctrine in the filling of the Holy Spirit. It is only when you do this that you can fulfill the purpose of God in your life.

4 STEPS TO TAKE TO OVERCOME INSECURITY IN YOUR RELATIONSHIPS

Insecurity can be described as a phenomenon where a partner keeps having doubts about the faithfulness of his or her partner at all times. It occurs where there is lack of trust in a relationship/marriage.
INSECUIRY
With insecurity in a relationship, partners argue and blow up little issues that are not worth more than a 5 sentence explanation  into a big issue thereby, causing strains, heartaches, headaches and even destruction of a beautiful relationship.
The person that suffers the most is the partner on the receiving end or the person that is always been accused wrongly and always faced with a situation of trying to vindicate themselves with evidence/proofs .
In worse cases, Insecurity could be extremely detrimental to any relationship/marriage when the issue at hand may appear to be cheating meanwhile it is not. With an ever doubtful mind, the insecure person could take drastic actions that could lead to the death of the  accused. This is very painful especially if the accused  has always been  the faithful type with a clean past and conscience.
Lets look at steps to take in order to avoid the dangers of Insecurity in our relationship/marriages.
1. Stop Trying to be a Psychologist
Psychologist here connotes reading the mind of your partner. You need to understand that people think differently including identical twins so the perspective your partner reasons or see things might be different from the way you see things. Even if your partner is quiet over some things, you do not need to make assumptions of what they are thinking. Focus more on what you are been told so as to avoid thoughts of cheating thus insecurity.Learn to  take your partners words as they come open heartedly and do not bother about the story untold.
2. Leave baggage from previous relationships.
There is a popular idiom that says ; once bitten twice shy which applies to  so many aspects of our lives and including relationships. Hence, it is expected that someone who has been cheated on in their previous relationships would be more watchful and wise in their next relationship. In as much as it is good to be wiser , you have to understand that people are different and  so is every relationship. The best way to avoid insecure feeling is to let go of bad experiences in previous relationship, have an  open mind and start every relationship on fresh grounds so as to avoid issues of been overly suspicious in an attempt to protect oneself from another heartbreak.
3. Stop creating problems where there is none.
Insecure partners need to stop thinking there is more to what you see. Take for example, you see the zip of your partner broken and coincidentally a female colleague just walked out of his office. Then you start thinking of what could have to a broken zip. Definitely it was most likely broke in the process of him cheating on you before you walked in. You need to understand that it could have been broken on his way to work, at work or he probably did not noticed before putting on the trouser.                                                                           Learn to stop hallucinating or making a mental movie script out of any little incident you see to avoid having in issues. Ask questions and let by gone be by gone.
4. Pray about it.
This is the beginning and end of the solution to Insecurity. You need the Grace of God to forget the past and start life on a new grounds, to be patient to hear your partner out,  to be free minded, for understanding and to see your partner in the positive Light. In everything you do in life always put God first!
Defavouredkings blog fans, you can make a change in your relationships  with God, hardwork and determination. Take all these steps and save your marriage/relationships from unnecessary fight.
Do not forget to share this with your loved ones while you maintain peace in your relationships.

SEVEN PRINCIPLES OF AN EAGLE TO LIVE BY

Eagle is a common name for many large birds of prey of the family Accipitridae; it belongs to several groups of genera that are not necessarily closely related to each other. Most of the 60 species of eagles are from Eurasia and Africa.
    Speed: Bald eagle: 120 – 160 km/h
Lifespan: Bald eagle: 20 years, Crowned eagle: 14 years
    Wingspan: Bald eagle: 1.8 – 2.3 m, Steller's sea eagle: 2 – 2.5 m, more
Mass: Bald eagle: 3 – 6.3 kg, Golden eagle: 4.2 kg, more
    Clutch size: Steller's sea eagle: 1 – 3, Crowned eagle: 1 – 2, more
Length: Golden eagle: 70 – 84 cm, more

(1) EAGLES FLY ALONE AND AT HIGH ALTITUDES.
They don’t fly with sparrows or other small birds.
Stay away from sparrows and ravens, those that bring you down. Eagles fly with Eagles. Keep good company.

(2) EAGLES HAVE AN ACCURATE VISION.
They have the ability to focus on something as far as 5km. No matter the obstacles, the eagle will not move his focus from the prey until he grabs it.
Have a vision and remain focused no matter what the obstacle and you will succeed.

(3) EAGLES DO NOT EAT DEAD THINGS.
They feed only on fresh prey.
* Do not rely on your past success; keep looking for new frontiers to conquer. Leave your past where it belongs, in the past.

(4) EAGLES LOVE THE STORM.
When clouds gather, the eagles get excited. The eagle uses the storm’s wind to lift it higher. Once it finds the wind of the storm, the eagles uses the raging storm to lift him above the clouds. This gives the eagle an opportunity to glide and rest its wings. In the meantime, all the other birds hide in the leaves and branches of the trees.
* Face your challenges knowing that these will make you emerge stronger and better than you were. We can use the storms of life to rise to greater heights. Achievers are not afraid of challenges rather they relish them and use them profitably.

(5) MAKE FRIENDS WITH CHAMPIONS
When a female eagle meets a male and they want to mate, she flies down to earth with the male pursing her and she picks a twig. She flies back into the air with the male pursuing her.
Once she has reached a height high enough for her, she lets the twig fall to the ground and watches it as it falls. The male chases after the twig. The faster it falls, the faster he chases until he reaches it and has to catch it before it falls to the ground, then bring it back to the female eagle.

The female eagle grabs the twig and flies to a much higher altitude, and then drops the twig for the male to chase.
This goes on for hours, with the height increasing until the female eagle is assured that the male eagle has mastered the art of picking the twig which shows commitment, then and only then, will she allow him to mate with her!

Whether in private life or in business, one should test commitment of people intended for partnership.
(6) EAGLES PREPARE FOR TRAINING.
They remove the feathers and soft grass in the nest so that the young get uncomfortable in preparation for flying.
* Leave your comfort zone, there is no growth there.

Eagle and Eaglet
(7) RENEW
When the Eagle grows old, his feathers become weak and cannot take him as fast as he should. When he feels weak and about to die, he retires to a place far away in the rocks. While there, he plucks out every feather on his body until he is completely bare. He stays in this hiding place until he has grown new feathers, then he can come out.
* We occasionally need to shed off old habits, things that burden us, or add no value to our lives.

FINDING GOD’S PLAN FOR OUR LIVES

Key Verse: “What shall I do, Lord?”(Acts 22: 10)

We shall base this study upon the question asked by Saul of Tarsus at the very moment of his new birth: “What shall I do, Lord?” Did Saul’s conversion just “happen”?; was it by “chance” that he was suddenly converted on the Damascus road, or was it according to a divine plan and purpose? Acts 9:15 tells us that it certainly was “according to plan” – God’s plan. But has God a plan for my life? If so, how may I know it and what is involved in finding it? These and many other questions demand an answer.

THE LORD HAS A DEFINITE PLAN AND PURPOSE FOR THE LIFE OF EVERY ONE OF HIS CHILDREN

There are three strong reasons for believing this:
  1. It is reasonable to expect it. God is a God of order and method. If we are building a house or designing a dress, we work according to a plan, a pattern. God does the same.
  2. It is according to experience. Think of Abraham (Hebrews 11:8-10); Moses (Hebrews 11:24-27); David (1 Chronicles 17:7); Isaiah (Isaiah 6:8); Jeremiah (Jeremiah 1:5-8); Paul (Acts 9:15).
  3. God’s Word teaches it. Look up Ephesians 2:10, and compare Psalm 27:11; 37:23; 73:24; 148:8; Proverbs 3:6; 15:19; 16:3; Isaiah 6:8-9; 30:21 and James 1:5.
Notice the following three characteristics of God’s plan for our lives:
  1. It is a personal plan. Notice the personal pronouns – “you” and “me” in Acts 9:4. There is no one else in the world like you, and therefore God’s plan for you is unique and personal – just for you! He has a purpose to fulfil in and with your life which cannot be fulfilled in and with the life of any other person.
  2. It is a perfect plan. In Romans 12:2 (which should only be read in conjunction with Romans 12:1), we are told that the will of God, or God’s plan and purpose in the lives of His children, is “his good, pleasing and perfect will.”
  3. It is a practical plan. It is workable and it is thoroughly related to everyday living and service. It is not a plan which only sounds “good, pleasing and perfect” in a theoretical sense, but it proves to be so in experience!

THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IN LIFE, THEREFORE, IS TO DISCOVER GOD’S PLAN AND PURPOSE FOR OUR LIFE

This is obvious, but it is sadly true that some Christians fail to discover God’s plan and purpose for their life, and in consequence their whole life is filled with disappointment and defeat, frustration and failure. How wonderful to feel that we are achieving something really worthwhile and to know that we are doing it, not for ourselves, but in accordance with the will of our loving heavenly Father! Every unconverted person is living a self-planned life, as Saul was up until the time of his conversion – see Acts 9:5; but it is also sadly true that many Christians plan their own lives. We make decisions and choices which afterwards prove to be so wrong – compare John 21:3. There is nothing greater or more comforting than to know we are in the centre of God’s will, and every one of us can know just that.

WE ENTER GOD’S PLAN WHEN WE ACCEPT AND ACKNOWLEDGE JESUS CHRIST AS OUR LORD AND SAVIOUR

Saul entered the plan of God when he submitted to what the Lord told him to do – Acts 9:6, and compare with verse 8. The Lord Jesus revealed Himself to Saul, saying, “I am Jesus…” – that is, “Saviour” – look up Matthew 1:21. This is not to say that God was not interested in Saul and watching over him prior to his conversion, but it is true to say that Saul only really entered into the plan of God when he bowed at the feet of Jesus Christ and accepted Him as his Saviour and Lord.

WE GO ON TO DISCOVER, AND WE CONTINUE IN GOD’S PLAN, BY A DAILY SUBMISSION TO HIM AND TO HIS REVEALED WILL

He has the whole plan of our life in front of Him, but He only reveals it a bit at a time – look up Psalm 37:23. He knows the end from the beginning (Isaiah 46:9-10). But the human condition which has to be met, if we are to know and to do God’s will, is complete submission to Him and a strong desire to obey Him – see Acts 22:10. This enquiry as to what God’s will is involves four things:
  1. Communion with Him in prayer. A suitable prayer is recorded in Psalm 27:11; and it is when we know what it is to go regularly into the secret place that the Lord graciously reveals His plan to us step by step.
  2. Studying and searching His Word. How wonderfully all the saints of God have been led as they have read and submitted their lives to the commands and guidance of the Word of God! – look up Psalm 119:105.
  3. Prompt and unquestioning obedience. God reveals His will as we obey Him – look up 1 Samuel 15:22. He only does it a step at a time; Saul had to go into the city before the Lord told him the next step He wanted him to take (Acts 9:6).
  4. Complete and implicit trust. We can rarely trace God’s working in our lives, for we are living by faith and not by sight. This means that we have to trust Him. The Lord chose Saul to be “a chosen instrument”, and Saul had to trust Him in all that He permitted in his life – sufferings, privations, stonings, imprisonments… (2 Corinthians 11:24-28). We must remember that God’s plan includes His permission of life’s testings – look up 1 Peter 4:12-13 and 19.

GOD’S PLAN FOR OUR LIFE IS AN ETERNAL ONE

Perhaps, as you have reached this last point in our study, you are saying, “What a thrilling theme for young people who have the whole of life before them!” But it is an equally thrilling theme for the most aged Christian, for all of us who belong to the Lord have a glorious eternity before us, and God’s plan has an earthly and a heavenly part. The earthly part is like the foundation of the building; the heavenly part can be likened to the structure of the building. We are apt to have a very limited conception of God’s plan. When a Christian dies at the age of 30 or 40, we say, “What a tragedy!” – which it is from earth’s limited viewpoint; but God’s loving plan for His children is an eternal plan – look up Ephesians 2:10; 1 John 2:17 and 2 Timothy 4:7-8.
